Help! Smart Ceiling Fan light won't turn off.
I have a smart ceiling fan in my 1 year's bedroom and the light won't turn off!
It's a Globe Electric Caledon 52-in Black LED Covered Outdoor Flush Mount Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote Control Included. Link included for reference. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Globe-52-IN-GLOBE-FLUSH-3-BLADE-BLK/5015128441
It's been installed and working fine for a bit over a year now. Yesterday, the light won't turn off completely. The picture makes it look a bit brighter (and daylight coming in from behind the curtains), but it's still bright enough to read by! App says it's off, there are no other programs or routines working on it. We have Alexa, but no automated routines. The standard, "Alexa, turn off Nursery Fan light" doesn't work. Pressing the button on the remote takes it from full bright ON to this dim orange light "OFF". The only way to really turn it off is the power switch, but that turns the fan off too. Not an option in the summer in the south!
I've already deleted the fan from the app and re-added it. Same thing. I don't think it's something with the app as the remote does the thing as well. I turned it off completely with the switch for a few hours this morning but still have the same issue when we came back. Please help. We've covered the crib with a blanket to shade it from the light, but the baby still had a bit of a rough night.
