What clothes represent british culture?

It's Culture Week at my son's school this week and they're learning about cultures and customs of the world then on Friday they can come in dressed in something which represents British culture.

My son (8) is adamant he wants to wear a basketball kit which i personally would associate with America. I suggested a crown to represent the royal family. My daughter (13) suggested a Stella can, trackies tucked into his socks and a fake chain 🤣

I did a search and got results for a tshirt which says 'Stop the boats' which is incredibly depressing and certainly does not make me proud to be british.

My son's school is very multicultural which i adore, there must easily be 10 different languages spoken in his year alone.

What clothes would you associate with british culture? (Unfortunately this wont sway his decision but its just something which interested me)

Delta airline diverting back (doesnt appear to be weather related)

No squawk and other planes are landing in Atlanta so doesnt appear to be wearher related. What could the reason be?

There are delays in Atlanta currently but surely going all the way back is a tad excessive?
