Moving to San Angelo soon, I want to continue playing roller derby. Is there a team around there?

I wish I had a good pic right now but I dont.

Kobold is 18 months old now but I swear shes very suddenly put on muscle on her shoulders in like the past 1 or 2 weeks.

She's always been a slender girl with lanky legs but now Im seeing more of the traditional shape of a schnauzer with the bulky chest and shoulder.

Jusyt recently, maybe 2 months ago, her appetite has become healthier too. It used to be a bit of a battle to get her to eat, now she'll eat her whole meal in one sitting (which I love).

So yeah, is she just doing her muscle build up late because she is now eating consistently? Should I expect her appetite to remain?

She's got a healthy build, no ribs showing and shes got a belly dip.

Any thoughts?

I live on the SC/GA boarder and the areas here get quite dangerous. All of the areas ive provided services in have been quite unsafe. My client's mom just told me about 2 shootings happening last year and the year before.

I just wanted to hear what strategies some of you have for staying safe in unsafe places. I carry 3 bags to and from homes. If I get mugged im dropping them all without a doubt, the mugger would be very disappointed to find a bunch of toys and my lunch in the bags though lol.

Obviously self defense weapons are out of the question, but how do yall try to stay safe out here?

My client had a really youthful response to a new extinction protocol today and scratched my face decently badly. He was going through it, screaming at the top of his lungs and just a full on situation, this isn't a crisis for him he tends to be an intense kid and mom is very aware.

But today was the first time he's ever aggressed in a way that left an obvious mark and mom started crying when she saw me walk out of his room. I didn't even know there was a scratch on my face until she started profusely apologizing. I was just trying to update her on the situation.

She apologized for the rest of the session and sent me home with home-cooked food and a drink. I ended up taking the food mostly to make her feel better (still gonna eat it). At one point once my client had regulated I took her aside reassured her I wasn't upset and I wasn't hurt at all, this is my job and Im here for her and his sake. The little dude felt so bad for hurting me after this whole escalation and drew me a special picture as an apology.

I always struggle to know exactly what to say to parents to keep that professional boundary but still talk to them as a human.

Im not necessarily looking for advice on this situation bit just your experiences with situations lile this.

I just spent 2 hours staring at a blank document before I caved and made the teeniest, the smallest of outlines on a loose sheet of paper out of desperation. I just needed to vent this out to anyone in the same boat.

I live just across the state border from the region I work in now. When I signed onto this company I was given a specific hourly rate, the clients in this region did not work out. Too many telehealth sessions and dangerous situations that led to me being removed from 3 cases for my own safety. I was offered ONE client across the state border in another region and that BCBA liked me so much I am now exclusively working with her for 3 different clients outside of my home region. I have no clients in the region I signed on for.

The problem is, I wasn't told this would effect my hourly rate. It dropped 2 dollars, and Im commuting 30-40 minutes daily both ways on top of peak traffic hours on the way home. Literally one day my regional coordinator told me she was moving me to the other region and the next day I got a message telling me my new hourly rate. Im trying to fight this so hard.

Does anyone have any advice or insight? I know its a long shot but Im genuinely stressing out about this, those 2 dollars hourly could go to gas for all the driving im doing.
