We decided to continue the LOTR theme
This dudes pretty awesome I’m a big fan. we bonded a lot while he was in quarantine but now that it’s over, thankfully he’s super chill when my other birds fly on me.
I knew that owning a Quaker would be much different from cockatiels but wow. They just seem so much more aware and cautious so when you win over their trust, it’s so cool. My cockatiels are like golden retrievers they love everyone right away, so yeah, very very different.
I love them all insanely.

We’re planning to open our home to fosters and older birds that need to be rehomed. I’m super excited!
I work from home and I have a lot of time, we’ve been planning this for years and it’s finally happening and we’re so close to being finished, I just can’t wait!!!! 🥹🥹🥹

The frame is from Amazon, the rest is just bird toys and perches we had laying around.
It’s on wheels so we can move it around too, it’s been the best thing for our flock!

I got the metal frame from Amazon the the rest is extra toys, rope perches (since they are only on it when a human is nearby) as well as a bunch of flat perches I had, will add more perches eventually but I love it, they love it and it has wheels so we can move it around

It’s fun watching them explore their space together, hoping all goes well. I have Ekko’s old cage still in case they choose they actually don’t want to live together

I just want to add they have multiple areas where they can find food easily, this is a choice lol

you can move toys around, add toys wherever,
Busy birds = happy birds and this one keeps them busy!

Only happens to Ekko so I wonder if this is the universe preparing me for his true colours 🥹😭😂
