Kia America response to my request

Because my i know people on here have much larger payments that had issues that fall into a more normal category that had like 2 $800+ payments covered...its just very frustrating. All I did was ask for them to cover all weather floor mats throughout the vehicle amd it probably would have been even less overhead for them.

I put 50k down..

I put 50k down on a 2027 sxp executive xline HEV, didnt yet put 100 miles on it had it 5 days when I stepped foot in the door from work I got the call. "You have to come get us you have to see what this thing is doing, im currently on tue side of the road with the kids (my boys are 5 and 3)" so much for a reliable family vehicle. Should have just stuck with what I know and went with a tahoe. If it seems too good to be true it usually is...that saying certainly applies here. When I arrived to my family they were outside the vehicle on the side of the road fearing the car was the less safe of the two options. My wife didnt shut the car off because she wanted me to see what it was doing. At idle it was rolling from 1000 to 2200 rpm and the check engine light was on under the hood the vehicle was extremely hot but no increase in water or oil temp showed.

Next day service called me confused as to why my vehicle was there. They said they went to check the car in and were told a check engine light was on but it wasnt on. The car had cleared the code according to them they couldnt see what code was thrown.

The long and short of it is I was without the vehicle longer than I owned it to that point and the issue with the vehicle was they found a battery terminal cover in the turbo. (Would you trust them if they told you they changed the turbo out) I was told "good news...we found your issue..."

The only positive was after hemming and hawing they dropped a gm vehicle in my driveway as a loaner and dropped the car back to me because I told them I dont want it back.
