Curious what people have already found out in terms of combos for the new book.

Personally I really want to play terminators so I found this

dividing an allarus unit into single models with the detachment giving reroll 1 hit and reroll 1 wound and + 2 mortal wound on average against monsters/vehicles in the fight phase per unit

This could more than double the output of an allarus terminator unit, however this would be very susceptible to interruption since every model would fight one at a time.

Then again they would have to carefully choose the amount of attacks to not underkill a model, this is mainly a sure fire way against long range fire power going from 12 wounds to 24 against anything with T15 and below

Hello everyone! I'm a small time TO organizing 1000pts tournaments with around 12 people per tournament, we do not have the space to use full 2000pts tables so we kept using the 1000pts ones (44x30) since 9th.

Now that terrains are objectives we have to redesign every map we used until now and I would really appreciate some feedback from you all!

For those that have several 11th games under their belt do you notice any potential problem for primaries / secondaries? Thank you!

with 11th edition coming up what would be the best way to play the silver tide ? maxing out immortals and warriors ? Still awakened dynasty ?

As someone pointed out it seems the new fast rolling let you see the full wound rolls before choosing which wounds to allocated where, I saw many people worrying about attached characters but the true issue is sparse invulnerable saves like vanguard veterans or bullgryns with conditional access to a 4++, you can use them as emergency "flares" to effectively get rid of every single 4+ saved dice in a throw.

for example:

10 succesful wound rolls ap 5 damage 2, against a unit of 10 vanguard veterans with a single storm shield.

save rolls are in order 1,4,3,2,4,3,5,6,3,5

currently, supposing the opposing player takes wounds on the storm shield first thats 10 dead marines

with these new rules, all the 4+ are allocated to the storm shield and effectively saved, thats 5 dead marines

Hello everyone, I have a 2014 pavilion 17 notebook laptop with a 840m gpu and wanted to upgrade but I have been cursed.

The colors on my laptop are so vivid (a bright view screen apparently, a glassy finish instead of matte) that I can't go back to flat colors I have seen on several "gaming" laptop.

What should I look for to get something close or better in terms of colors ? I'm looking for somethingwith a gpu between a gtx 1050 and a gtx 1650
