I thought I would like the DateJust style more but I prefer my divers instead. Very light scuffs near the spring bars on the bottom where I removed the band to get to the plastic wrap. Posted looking for a GSF Milgauss Blue (HMU if you know of one...) and one u/Deanandrew94 responded via chat linking me up with his "friend" WatchGuy on whatsapp (+1 (507) 351-3908) dude proceeded to send me AI photos of the Milgauss to get me to send payment. With the slightest pushback he stopped responding and lo and behold, u/Deanandrew94 returned from the woodwork with a Milgauss he magically ALSO had.

He proceeded to also send AI watch photos that were easily detected, and sent his wife's venmo (@skelton1900, poor lady). After giving him mild pushback about watch verification, he folds and admits to the scam. Beware of this guy, his fake Whatsapp seller profile, and his poor wife's venmo.

Index alignment: Seems correct

Dial Printing: Clean to me

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Centered, but sits a little high. Wondering if this is something worth being concerned about? See Screenshot of date at 22 (from video).

Hand Alignment: seems good

Bezel: looks good

Solid End Links (SELs): perhaps a gap at bottom right (img_3081), seems very minimal

Timegrapher numbers: -2s/d, 263°, 0,1ms err

Other than the date "issue", this seems like a solid GL. One thing is that Steve did not provide an open case back photo for this watch. Is there any information to be gleaned that I am missing out on by not seeing the movement with the case back removed?

This all started by me finding an old post talking about getting this working on a hacked 3DS.

The newest version of MelonDualDS (0.7.0 rc2) allows for gba slot analog input. This allows you to deliver analog controls to supported DS games, or in our case, romhacks.

Having read about this, I found a patch for SM64DS 1.1 here. This is a patch to allow analog input in SM64DS.

After that, I found ANOTHER patch that allowed for 60fps from a random YouTube video, so I patched my rom with that.

After that, I added the ROM to my Thor.

I found a widescreen 16:10 cheat here, but that is not the aspect ratio we need for Thor. So I modified it to allow for 16:9 aspect ratio instead and added it to MelonDualDS

Once you have the patched rom, and the cheat enabled, you need to go to custom settings for the game in MelonDualDS and enable "Analog Input" for GBA slot.

A side quirk is that the patch makes the controls quirky, so the fix THAT, you remap the right analog stick to the dpad alongside the normal analog stick. This makes it so you are able to use analog in game and camera controls on right stick, without breaking MelonDualDS or ruining controls for other games. (thx u/SuperShadowStar).

You will also have to adjust the dual screen presets to NOT preserve ds aspect ratio so it properly stretches to the rendered 16:9.

EDIT: You can force the top screen to stretch but not bottom by creating a custom layout. In settings, go to Input, Layouts, and create a new layout with the top screen set to aspect ratio: no restrictions, then fill up the screen and save it. Then in Mario 64's custom settings, set it to the new layout. You can then reuse this layout for other widescreen enabled games like Mario Kart DS. (thx u/SuperShadowStar)

After ALL of that, you will have Mario64DS with Widescreen, 60fps, and Analog Controls.

Edit 2: there is some occasional slowdown with 60fps mod tied to the ds emulator not allowing OC. A more consistent experience can be had by skipping the 60fps mod above and doing everything else. Since original ds could not hit 60, hyper accurate emulators will not either, without OC.
