Continuing the theme of Englewood schools, this is a photo of Englewood High during construction in 1920, near the intersection of Broadway and Hampden. The school later became Flood Middle School and was demolished in 2013.

The Skerritts founded Englewood in the late 1800s and built a house on their ranch, originally many acres. The house still sits near the Broadway and Hampden interchange. Here is some background about the house and how it was preserved so we can appreciate it today.
