Okay so I watched the first season when it came out years ago and thought it was just one season and done. Don't remember anything about season 2.
Time is really limited these days with work and kids I'd like to just jump into season 2 but how much of one do I need to remember? Or what is a good recap
I run a small service business and I'm trying to get consistent on Instagram. I found someone to handle content and want a gut check on the price before I commit.
For $150/week:
3 reels: she gives me the topic, writes the hook, and makes the cover image. I record the footage, she handles the editing and captions.
1 still image post (quote graphic) with trending audio that she makes.
So 4 pieces a week, with video editing and captions included. The only thing I'm responsible for is actually recording myself.
That works out to about $40 per finished piece and roughly $650/month. I record my own footage, so she's editing my clips rather than filming anything.
For those of you who've hired this out or done it yourselves: is this a fair rate? Good deal? Getting fleeced? And if you've used someone like this, did it actually move the needle or just drain money? Anything I should nail down before signing on (turnaround time, revisions, etc.)?
Appreciate any honest takes.
