Prajakta Koli admited on record that she used chatgpt to write acknowledgement page.

Prajakta Koli admitting on record that she used chatgpt to write acknowledgement page and has never read any acknowledgements in any book is honestly baffling and reveals a lot about her relationship with reading and writing #isaidwhatisaid

It's really sad to see that so many amazing writers out there are not getting the chance to publish their books simply because they don't have a certain number of followers. This just shows how flawed and broken our publishing industry is.

My take on Guardians Top 100 best novels of all time

Just went through the Guardian’s top 100 books list and it does feel a little biased towards literary fiction over genre fiction.

First of all WHERE THE HELL IS OSCAR WILDE?!?!? I took it little personally seeing him not on the list 😭

Also the absence of fantasy books like LOTR and HP and Stephen King books and contemporary authors like R F Kuang, says a lot about how genre fiction was clearly overlooked.

Given the voters tho, I am not really surprised that most of the books are classics. It feels more like ‘the novels that literary critics value’ over ‘the top 100 novels in general'

P.S. Virginia Woolf sweeping 5 entries while I still haven’t read a single book of her might be a my clear sign to fix that asap.

Here's the list - https://www.theguardian.com/books/ng-interactive/2026/may/12/the-100-best-novels-of-all-time

Finally visited Book Garden one last time today before it shuts down.

Finally visited Book Garden one last time today before it shuts down.

This place will always have my heart. I truly adored this bookstore. I loved the silence here which always used to make me want to stay a little longer. I used to sit here for hours, either reading or sometimes just escaping when life got too loud.

The owner, Tanmey, is genuinely one of the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She always had the best recommendations. Plus, the way she wrapped the books and stamped your name on them, giving each one a unique touch, showed how much she loved what she did.

I’ve always tried to support local independent bookstores like this, and I’d urge others to do the same.

But alas, every good chapter comes to an end. Going to miss this place a lot 💙

What makes someone a “well-read” person?

What makes someone a “well-read” person?

Someone who reads 50 books a year? or Someone who has read all the classics? or Someone who only reads lesser known books? or Someone who only reads literary fiction?

Have been thinking about this lately. We keep hearing people say “Oh, he/she is very well-read person” but I’ve never really understood what the criteria for that is.

Is it completely subjective depending on who’s saying it or who they are saying it to?

She is just making stuff up. Vagmita Singh aka inframe:ThatIndianChick

No hate to her or anything like that but I am pretty sure she has made up this story.

Context - she is sending a msg to a girl named Riya whose boyfriend is on a boys trip in Budapest and how him and his friends are planning to keep secrets from Riya and that she need to leave him.

I have watched many similar kind of reels, same script, same plot. Some end on a positive note or some are very similar where they are calling out the guy for cheating on her partner.

I can't find the exact reel from where she had copied this script but I've found a similar one but with different ending (2nd image)

I want to rent a flat in 2.5bhk or 3bhk in Atmosphere phase 1. Please if anyone knows if any flat is available on rent, do let me know.

As far as I have enquired there are flats available there but almost all of them are with the brokers, if anyone can share the brokers contact info it would also be a big help. Thank You.

Today I saw that the stall where I eat South Indian breakfast hasn’t opened yet. Then I remembered, I had saved his number because he does deliveries too, but wasn’t able to recall his name.

I just searched ‘vada’ and found his number, lol. Honestly this way it’s a lot easier.
