Walking to Rue du France Flixbus station at midnight

So I've got a FlixBus leaving at 1:55 AM from the stop near Brussels-Midi (Rue de France). I've only ever used the FlixBus stop at Brussels-Nord before, which is always packed with people, so I don't really know what to expect here.

How long is the walk from the station exit to the FlixBus stop at that hour? (I mean I know the station closes at 1AM so technically I'm asking how bad it is at 1AM)

Is the FlixBus area itself usually busy, or would I be lingering alone in Rue du France waiting for the bus?

Any tips for getting there safely would be appreciated. Thanks!

UPDATE: It was fine mostly just harmless homeless people trying to sleep.

I got 8 retakes lined up this year. Doable?

Master's in Computer Science. Title is pretty much self-explantory. I kinda wanna take a consensus of people's experience here and I'm wondering if this is just an impossible bottleneck.

Practical advice for finding a place in a bar for the game

Hey guys. My First world cup in belgium and my country's playing against it tonight! So me and a couple of friends thought we would go out but I know everybody says the bars at the Oude Markt get extremely crowded for the game so I'm wondering how do people get a spot anyway? Is reserving a thing? How much sooner would we have to get there? And if it's too much of a hassle are there other less crowded bars with a good vibe?

700EUR/month for studio. Am I paying too much?

I'm looking at a studio in Woods (the Woods residence, I've heard it's quite well-known), own bathroom and toilet, 700 EUR/month all-in. It's my second year, so I have a rough sense of the market, but a friend just told me he's paying 450 EUR for a place through Studentcomfort and now I'm second-guessing myself.

I get that 450 is probably a room with shared kitchen/bathroom rather than a private studio, so it might not be apples to apples, but rents also seem to keep climbing every year and I can't tell if I'm just paying for "new and nice" or if I'm genuinely getting ripped off. Even though I've seen the prices are way higher on immoweb compared to last year.

For people who've lived in Woods, Thomas Morus, or similar private-studio places recently: does 700 EUR for a studio like this sounds normal for this year, or is that really high?

Question about internship hours and their conflict with third period examinations

Hey everyone, I'm a CS master's student and just received a summer internship contract from a local tech startup.

During the interview, I told them I was available from July 6 to Aug 17. I assumed it would be part-time because the job posting said "minimum 3 days a week." However, the contract they just sent is for a strict 40 hours/week.

I have heavy retakes in August. If I work full-time until the 17th, I will definitely fail them.

I want to politely ask the mentor for my internship (technical guy, also KUL graduate) if I can either drop to 20h/week, take unpaid study leave in August, or just end the internship in late July. Or any other solution that people may have done.

Since I was the one who originally gave them the Aug 17th end date, I feel like an idiot backtracking now.

My questions:

Is it normal to negotiate student contract hours to accommodate the third examination period?

What are the chances they get annoyed and pull the offer entirely if I explain the miscommunication and ask for flexibility?

Is there anything else I can do that I may not have thought about?

TL;DR Assumed an internship was part-time and gave availability until mid-August. Contract says 40h/week. Will they pull the offer if I ask to reduce hours so I can survive my August retakes?
