bought my rambler during COVID, and it came with central A/C and old-school baseboard heating. Right now, all the heating and cooling is on the main floor, and the basement doesn’t have anything.
I’ve been thinking about replacing the A/C with a heat pump to help cut down on gas usage, but I’m not sure if it makes sense in my situation. Also, I'm thinking of installing mini splits in the basement instead of doing duct works? What do yall think, and do you have any recommendations? any companies?
