It's so weird how white ages

These white 1x2 plates have been joined together like this as part of my (partially assembled) R2D2 from 9748 Droid Developer Kit for at least 15 years - the batteries in the brain had a use by date of 2010. One has yellowed way more than the other. The photo doesn't do it justice, it's a brownish cream in person. It's also uniformly yellowed, despite one side having been up against the brain of the DDK for the whole time. So strange!

A new design process I'm trying of fitting builds to the terrain

I thought some of you might be interested in seeing how I'm approaching factory design in my new world, fitting foundations to the terrain and then building within them.

I'm trying something new in the game I've just started and starting by fitting foundations to the area, then designing a factory layout in https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/production-planner (simple then advanced mode) then in https://www.satisfactory-layouts.com

The ringing factory floor with concrete is loosely inspired by /u/FugitiveHearts's post on factory design.

I actually spent about the same amount of time designing my first factory (5 smart plating a minute) in https://www.satisfactory-layouts.com as I did constructing it in the game, and both of those were after I placed the foundations, which took probably twice as long!

Here's a link to the factory design in the Satisfactory Calculator Production Planner. See the images for the two stages of design in Satisfactory Layouts (it can't do non-rectilinear belts, otherwise you'd see the output belt going diagonally north west out of the top part to the space elevator I have there - if u/Falqoon sees this, I'd love to be able to put in 45 degree belts and diagonal foundations in your floor planner).

I'm yet to build a roof for it, as it will probably end up with multiple floors with different stages of space elevator production.

I guess the Guide flair fits best because it shows an approach to factory design that you can follow. I reposted this as a gallery rather than a link to a comment because it seems a lot easier to view.

Crustaceans, molluscs, and the like should be called oceinvertebrates, because they're nothing like worms and other land invertebrates.

I'm genuinely interested in hearing your experiences listening to this episode and whether you felt it captured or didn't capture any unhappiness/lack of fulfillment/cognitive dissonance with modern life you feel.
