Started yesterday, I did not update OS, it wasn’t there during morning commute, dis not update app, was there in the evening commute.
I could not find anything in the settings.

My router has a VPN feature that I have been using for a few years, also my NAS has this but it's a bit slow, that's why I moved to using the router as the VPN provider.
I finally decided to install (that one) wireguard provider after all the YouTube rave and I though it worked differently, all it does is create a pseudo-VPN/ direct connection to allow my devices to talk to each other, something I can already do with my VPN.
I saw someone else asked a similar question before and what he got was that the router's CPU would be overworked (hit hard) handling the traffic, and something with CGNAT, which I am not behind from what I can tell.
All I need it for is accessing my NAS and maybe remote access but have not decided yet since I've been using TeamViewer for that.
Is there any benefit on using (that one) wireguard provider vs my router's VPN service?

My NAS (DS214play) is becoming excessively slow: what I'm referring to is mostly the web interface; when I try to do anything it sits at "Loading for 15, 20, 30 seconds" EVERY SINGLE TIME I do anything. I followed a couple of guides online but no help and the rest of the info is about people experiencing slow transfer speeds.
I understand that it's old but I'm I would like to see if there is something I can do other than turning it into e-waste.
More info:
* The problem started when I moved from DSM 6 to DSM 7 way back then.
* It's running 'DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 9'
* I restart it every couple of weeks.
* RAM usage is at 56% right now
* Running services are as follow, SMB, Cloud Sync, Photos, Media Server, Drive Server, Download Station, Video Station, Advance Media Extenssions, DHCP Server, File Server, Hyper Backup, OAuth Service (for some reason), SAN Manager, Storage Analyzer (Last report Jan 2024), Universal Search.
* I already tried disabling 'compress RAM', which was a recommendation for some reason.
* Wired Gigabit I'm getting about 120MB/s down, local transfer and 103MB/s upload on the same wire. I used to get 130MB/s on Windows 10, currently on Linux Mint.

THIS is what I mean that this damn game is unfair.
My bubble expired while I was in the shower, by the time I came back all my resources had been looted and all my army killed.
Do I have to live under a bubble for eternity? Is there a way to stop this?
I'm a relatively new player and JUST unlocked G3, how the fuck am I supposed to compete with these people?
If I have ZERO chance of winning against them (in attacks or in tournaments) why the hell are they allowed to attack us or are even in the same category?
