What is your country or nation's staple sandwich?

Maltese ftira is a nice thick bread stuffed with tomato paste lettuce olives canned tuna and sometimes traditional cheeselet. It is extremely popular and common in Malta to the point some workplaces have a day where everyone gets a break to eat it together.

Its also now part of UNESCOs intangible cultural heritage list.

I HATE this reddit feature

Its so fucking stupid I genuinely despise how inefficient it is. It's verification system basically MANDATES id use because face scan doesn't work at all. It's basically just data collection and I basically hides anything labelled as NSFW even things which aren't pornografija or death like sensitive topics. Even my own fucking posts are censored.

I AM NOT EVEN IN THE UK OR HAVE ANY TIES TO THE UK IT JUST RANDOMLY APPEARD

They just can't stop settling

"Northern samaria" aka Palestinian West bank. "Communities" aka internationally illegal settlements. They don't even try anymore just claim in and therefore its theirs. Then they wonder why they resist

Mmm Maltese Red coconut cake. I don't think a single person in Malta hasn't had one of these as a kid. They always were great.
