I’ve been applying for software engineering jobs recently, and every resume tool seems to follow the same pattern:

• Upload your resume ✅
• Paste the job description ✅
• See your ATS score ✅
• “Unlock the optimized version for $29” ❌

After trying a bunch of them, I decided to build one myself.

Current workflow:

• Upload resume (PDF/DOCX)
• Paste the Job Description
• AI rewrites the resume based on the JD
• Improves ATS score
• Adds missing keywords naturally
• Shows a side-by-side comparison with the original resume
• Download the improved version

Future ideas:

• AI suggestion fix instead of automatic changes
• Multiple resume versions
• Multiple Templates
• Cover letter generator
• Resume history
• Job application tracker

My goal is to keep the core functionality actually free because students and job seekers shouldn’t have to pay just to tailor a resume.

I’m still in development (literally planning everything on paper 😂), so I’d love some honest feedback.
