Hey everyone. I am an 17-year-old guy living in a highly homophobic country with a very homophobic family. Hiding my true self every single day is starting to take a massive toll on me. It is incredibly exhausting, isolating, and I am dealing with severe depression and loneliness because of it.

For anyone else who is stuck in a similar environment, or anyone who managed to get out: how do you deal with the loneliness? How do you protect your mental health when you feel completely trapped?

I just really need some advice or someone to talk to right now. If any other guys around my age want to connect, chat, or just vent about this together, please feel free to send me a DM. I would definitely appreciate it
