Cymbal condition question!!

Cymbal condition question!!

Sorry!! #2 lol

Just posted a similar question a few hours ago, bjt wanted to ask here:

I just found a listing of a Paiste Dark Energy MKI 20" for $500, where the cymbal is in excellent condition, except for a stain on it, looks like something was spilled on it. Is it possible for this to affect its durability, or how likely it is to crack? It's unknown what was spilled on it...

Preference between ride sizes

I'm curious for yalls input on the different sizes of ride cymbals, in particular the Paiste Dark Energy rides.

I'm debating 1: between MI and MKII (I like both a lot, stuck between the darker control of the MKI and the beautiful wash of the MKII. probably am going to order one of each in the same size and return one)

And 2: between 20", 21", and 22"

Anyone with any experience with these cymbals, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Question about the condition of a cymbal!

I'm looking at this Paiste Dark Energy Ride, and it has a bit of a ding and blemish on its edge. I'm wondering, in this subreddit's opinion, how much this defect might affect its structural integrity, and how likely it would be to crack?

Meinl timbale vs Tama metalworks mini snares comparison

Does anyone have experience with one or both of these mini snares?

I'm primarily interested in the 6 inch ones, but jot sure which one would be better

Advice

I'm looking to finally get a ride cymbal more suitable to my tastes...

Currently on the fence between an Istanbul xist agop dry dark 22" ride and a Mienl byzance 22" big apple dark. I think the Mienl would maybe be more versatile, but the Istanbul might be drier, darker, nd more crashable, all of which I like.

Anyone have any experience with these cymbals, or any suggestions?

I really enjoy quieter jass/fusion playing, but also very aggressive sounds inspired by Zach Hill... which is a big part of my indecision, as I would ideally like a ride that could work in both of these contexts
