The latest app update is awful.

The app forced me to update it in order to control my lights. The update deleted all of my light names and locations, and the UI is so bad and clustered I can barely look at it. Am I being dramatic or is this layout just awful now?
I've got like 20 bulbs throughout my house that were organized by room and light fixture. It's all gone.

Does anyone know how to remove these folder things from the start menu?

I restarted my computer for the first time in a while and now I have these app groups on the bottom half of the start menu. I hate it lol does anyone know if it's possible to remove them? I've already gone through every setting that I could think of regarding the start menu and everything is turned off.
