Once it had cooled down, we walked up the Sleights this evening. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been up there over the years, but every time I do, it makes me appreciate jist gow lucky we are to live in such a beautiful spot.

It's a scorcher, here in the Uk. Salad in the garden for dinner tonight. Pearl barley and bleack eyed beans with gherkins, pickled onions and sugar snap peas with a lemon, mustard and herb dressing. Whipped fetta with cherry tomatoes, spring onion and herbs from the garden. Green salad with apple, red pepper, cucumber, cheddar and mixed seeds and kale chips with salt, nutritional yeast and smoked chilli flakes.
