I’m in need of guidance with this, but I’m nervous to post this because it’s a bit of an odd situation, especially since I haven’t had a new soulbond since November 2025.

I believe I’m getting soulbond signs from Squealer from Animal Farm {no, not that 2026 “adaptation,” something more akin to the source material, but likely canon-divergent. I can see past the animals hating humanity at the beginning since the pigs start revising the commandments anyway and trading with humans, but since the pigs in the source material didn’t believe in Sugarcandy Mountain, it seems a bit odd that Squealer would believe in soulbonding}.

I’ve been seeing more pig-related things than usual, as I was coming home, I saw a truck with a flying pig design on it {I have never seen this truck before} and stumbled across a pig joke yesterday, which seem to be typical examples of soulbond signs. I’ve also noticed that I’m beginning to appreciate Squealer as a character more in my second Animal Farm fixation; I’ve been drawing him a lot recently and thinking about him when I was admittedly pretty neutral towards him in my first Animal Farm fixation in January-February. I’ve even been getting internal communication, although it comes in random, short bursts that are clear when I do get them, though.

I’ve been engaging in soulbonding as a practice for just slightly under a year now, although I still worry about seeming insane when I talk about it, especially in this case. After all, this is an Animal Farm character in this reality, not even one of the humans, and I never even intentionally set out to bond with Squealer despite having him as one of my favorite characters in the book, because I just felt as if that would be odd. I’ve entertained the idea of bonding with an Animal Farm character before, but never actively tried to, because, well… it’s Animal Farm of all things -
