I simply had to figure out the chorus chords tonight. Posting here so someone else can save the time spent figuring them out :)

One of my autistic teens suddenly got very upset and started throwing and pushing over whatever was nearby. My guitar got thrown across the room, and the headstock broke off 😭 There were no warning signs besides some impulsivity with instruments- otherwise, it was a normal session. Last week I reviewed his goals/objectives with his parents, and they requested to work on communicating when he’s frustrated before he does stuff like this 🥲 Ig the throwing happens at home, it has never happened in music therapy before.

It’s a shitty guitar, but I’m so sad about it. This guitar got me through practicum, internship, certification, and my first job. I’ve been a MT for almost 3 years and never had a client so suddenly aggressive 😢
