Miranda, Carrie & Moving to Paris

While I think that Miranda was right to tell Carrie that she shouldn’t move to Paris with the Russian in S6 E18, I think she was the absolute worst messenger. A woman that had given up so many of the things she wanted for SKIDMARK STEVE, was in no place to call out Carrie.

Maybe it was a fantasy, but at the end of the day, Aleksandr was going to take care of everything and was giving Carrie stability & security, something a lot of men (STEVE FOR EXAMPLE), are not able to do. And while that ultimately wasn’t the life Carrie wanted, I don’t think there was anything inherently wrong with wanting it or giving it a try.

If Miranda could live in a fantasy with Steve, why couldn’t Carrie? And let’s not forget: Miranda didn’t like Big, she didn’t like Aiden, she didn’t like the Russian, she only liked BERGER (that must tell you something).

P.S: I have a friend just like Miranda: she’s always the one to criticise others when they’re “living in a fantasy” or dating a man that’s “not right for them”, meanwhile, she is the one that is dating a bum-ass who she has to pay the cab for everytime he’s over at her place, and even thinks of marrying him, lol.

There’s no character I hate more than Steve

I genuinely hate Steve. HATE HIM.

Steve was the definition of a man-child. He constantly wanted things to go his way, and whenever Miranda pushed back, he had a tendency to manipulate the situation until she eventually gave in. He always seemed to want Miranda to accommodate him while acting like her boundaries were somehow unreasonable. He wanted the relationship on his terms, and when Miranda didn’t immediately agree, he’d pout, guilt-trip her, and overall act like a child.

And I know many people will argue that he had “whimsy,” but to me, he was always a loser who somehow managed to shoot his shot and get women who were far more attractive, successful, and, frankly, had better personalities than him. And then those women ALWAYS had to come down to his level and adapt to the life HE wanted. It was never, “How can I build a life that works for both of us?” It was always, “How do I convince her to want the life I want?”

And let’s not even talk about how having a successful woman always intimidated him. There was always this underlying insecurity whenever Miranda’s career, money, or independence made the difference between them too obvious. Instead of simply being proud of her, he often seemed to need her to make herself smaller so he could feel comfortable.

What makes it even worse is that the show constantly frames this behavior as adorable. Like, look at Steve! He’s goofy! He’s just a simple guy! He’s got a heart of gold!
No. He is a GROWN MAN.

STEVE BRADY I HATE YOU AND YOUR DOOKIE SKID MARK PANTIES AHH.

A Woman’s Right To Shoes - who was right?

Just rewatched A Woman’s Right To Shoes (Carrie goes to house party, has to take shoes off, shoes get stolen)

Among all the bullshit and weird things Carrie has done, this is one of the times where I’m completely on her side! Not only did that woman make her take off her Manolos, but she also shoe-shamed her. I know how we’re against Carrie’s shoe-addiction but come on, this woman had no business being so judgmental. Carrie didn’t even ask her for the money initially. But I loved it when she eventually sums up all she’s spent on gifts for her life events/life choices.

Oh and also, I think Carrie’s friend took them for herself lol.

Charlotte did not have self-respect.

Now, before you tear me to pieces: I do believe that Charlotte liked to think she had a lot of self-respect.

She had very specific standards, only wanted “high-class” men, cared deeply about appearances, and ultimately married two wealthy men. In her mind, I think all of that translated into having standards and therefore having self-respect.

But I actually think Charlotte was classist, materialistic, and, ironically, lacked a lot of self-respect.

Let’s not forget that she practically begged both of her husbands to marry her. And I’m sorry, but that is not exactly the picture of a woman who is standing firmly in her worth and saying, “If you don’t choose me, someone else will.” She also had to CHANGE HER RELIGION just to bag the man she wanted. Nowadays when we see a woman like that, we consider her to be desperate to be picked.

Girlie was bending over backwards to be desired by men, but we avoid it because “she married into wealth” and all is forgiven since Harry loves her. If Carrie had done any of that she’d be the most hated woman in the history of TV lol.

Carrie & Ted Mosby from HIMYM

Just got the random realisation that Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother & Carrie are a bit… too similar.

(Same goes for Samantha & Barney, in my head they’ve hooked up😂)

Duhet bojkotuar DHL ne Shqiperi

Eshte degjeneruar fare pjesa e pagesave.

“Kam punuar gjithe diten dhe nuk ushqej dot familjen time”

Ne valen e gjithckaje po ndodh ne Shqiperi, kjo pjese e fjalimit te kryebashkiakut te New Yorkut mu duk shume e pershtatshme me situaten.

Mayor Mamdani: "Reagan famously said the 9 most terrifying words in the English Language are 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' It's a good quote, but I disagree. I think 9 more terrifying words are actually, 'I worked all day and can't feed my family".

Kryebashkiaku Mamdani:
“Reagan tha famshëm se 9 fjalët më të frikshme në gjuhën angleze janë: ‘Jam nga qeveria dhe kam ardhur për të ndihmuar.’ Është një thënie e mirë, por nuk pajtohem. Mendoj se 9 fjalët edhe më të frikshme në fakt janë: ‘Kam punuar gjithë ditën dhe nuk mund të ushqej familjen time.’”

Greva e urisë e ish të përndjekurve politikë (2012)

Koha kur lideri suprem (qe nuk ishte ende lider atehere) ishte i gatshem te nxiste cdo gje vetem per te arritur ato qe donte…
