I got a good deal with one of the highly rated local independent vw shops. But he told me since my GLI has low mileage we don’t need to change the filter. Is the procedure still acceptable for vw service guidelines? Thank you.

Might be an ignorant question lol. But what is this thing for? I bought my gli and found couple of this sticking on the air vents. T.y
