Not everyone likes this version of Akuma, but you can't say that the sculpt of this figure is terrible.

Licensed figure. They already did great 1/12 KOF figures and 1/6 SNK figures, but I think this is their first 1/12 with silicone body + moving eyes. Expect this to go around $129 in the US, though.
Also, brands such as Storm Arena and Fondjoy will be releasing their Mai figures soon!

Will Storm Arena's and Fondjoy's Mai figures look just as good?
He came out of the box like that, no other detail I can provide. Thank you to anyone who can help in fixing this because I don't want to hate posing my first base form Goku that is supposed to be better than the GB Goku (no issues on my copy).
Been waiting for this new line for months and I pre-ordered Ryu and Classic Chun-Li. But when I saw photos of this variant, I knew I had to have it. Then I found out that the official 52Toys Shopee (kinda like Ali) store posted this, and it arrived from overseas after only 4 days.
Short review: I got it for 29 USD because of in-app discount vouchers and with free shipping, but it doesn't feel cheap at all. The amount of accessories is better than a lot of SHF figures and is close to figma. Some people get paint issues, but mine doesn't have any. The scale is good, but people who prefer the Marvel Legends/Jada/Storm Arena body proportions may not like it due to having a smaller head and thinner body parts. The articulation is good and everything works well; nothing too loose and nothing too tight. Changing parts is easy and not scary. The stand hinges aren't as tight as I want it to be, so doing either standing or aerial Hyakuretsukyaku pose is tricky due to the weight of the effect part. I'll try to improve it with a screwdriver. Overall, it's a solid figure and the early product photos didn't do it justice. Also, the cardboard backdrop is a nice addition for display.
Now, I don't have the AY Chun-Li, but based on the earlier comparisons I've seen and reviews of that figure, the 52Toys one is better in a lot of aspects and I'll die on this hill. The new one is cheaper, but you get a lot of stuff for the price. You get decent articulation, enough to do her iconic poses. It scales better with other brands, which is a big deal for me. The proportions are better and not as wild as AY's (but this is subjective, and the 52Toys neck is long for some reason). The faces are closer to the in-game design. QC issues aren't new with figures, but you shouldn't get any of that crap when you're paying for the price of AY Chun-Li. Handling and posing the 52Toys feels great. I can't wait for the Classic Chun-Li variant and 52Toys' other future releases, especially that Captain Commando!
Reminder: Don't take it out of the blister, and just let it sit in a safety deposit box for years before reselling it. It's not worth playing with this trash, and you can no longer sell it for hundreds of $$$ if you did. Always think of the value before you do anything!
Just kidding, not a cheap firetruck, but still looks like a fire truck. I guess I'm just underwhelmed?
I got another one tho in case I need retirement money. I can finally say that my future grandkids will be able to pay for college.
