First time night shifter

Hello, 34M first time night shifter here. I work 12 hour shifts 530pm to 530am as an envelope machine adjuster for an envelope manufacturer. I always told myself I'd never work nights but this job I took two years ago dictated an 18 month (sometimes longer) training period on days and then a mandatory shift to nights. I never did find a better job than this one so I stayed and got shifted. Anyway.... I'm slowly adjusting to the life style. I'm pretty new to interacting with reddit and commenting but I figured this might be the best way to connect with fellow night shifters going through the same things

Premium AR Update

I posted a couple of weeks ago about treating my fudge ARs and preserving the color. After careful consideration and some thought regarding how I would be using my boots, I decided to clean with a suede cleaner and then treat with Bick 4 conditioner. While it did darken the fudge, I found this option to be a solid middle ground between the color and protection. Took my kids hiking/fishing the other day and was very satisfied with how this boot performed and how easily they cleaned up. I use a plantar fasciitis insert in them and my feet didn't get sore at all.

How to keep fudge leather healthy and original?

Recently got a pair of premium ARs and they've been absolutely everything I dreamed they would be! I use them for all casual uses and also working in the yard where I got them dirty and even a little wet. My question is in how to keep them looking as close to the fudge color as possible (because I'm in love with the leather and color) while also ensuring longevity and protection. So far all I've done to clean them is brush them off with a stiff brush because I'm terrified of darkening them which normally wouldn't be a concern but this color is so unique and I want to preserve it!
