Lockhart Gravel

I used to ride gravel roads out by Lockhart a lot but I heard a majority of them have been paved in the last few years. Does anyone have a good route of gravel roads near Lockhart that are still there, or alternatively, a list of the roads you know have been paved over in the last few years so I can make my own route with what’s left?

HEB why??

Lately at the 7th St HEB they’ve been storing carts right up against the bike rack like this. Now one bike takes up the space of six. Super annoying especially because in my experience this rack can get really full. I didn’t notice it at first but there is a second much smaller rack in the parking lot directly across from the entrance, so head over there if you get boxed out of the main rack because of this shitty design.

Trying to reunite my dog and her puppy

When I adopted my heeler mix from APA back in December 2022, they said she had arrived with a single male puppy who had gone to a different foster. My friend who volunteered there got me this picture of both of them. It’s a bit of a long shot this many years later, and I’m sure dogs don’t even really care about this kind of thing, but I’ve always wanted to find the puppy so they could see each other again. If anyone happens to have a male ~4 year old, mostly-blue-heeler mix from APA who looked like this as a puppy, and they want to stage a little dog family reunion, please let me know!

($15k) Austin day-of coordinator

We’re using a more non traditional venue, which meant the earliest we could book was 9 months out, and now a lot of the day-of coordinators I had researched are already booked. Our budget for the coordinator is $1500. We’ve done most of the planning ourselves already, and we really are just looking for someone to hold it all together day of. Does anyone have any recommendations?
