Did my doctor do me dirty?

I had a scope done in 2020 after some trouble swallowing. My eosinophil numbers on blood draws have always been high. I was diagnosed with EOE and Barrett's esophagus. Doctor didn't bother calling me the results and had a nurse do it. He prescribed me omeprazole and told me to come back in 3 years for a repeat and then retired. I moved states and never got another done.

Fast forward to today and did some reason I was looking up EOE and decided to pull up my biopsy results.

From what I've read, greater than 100 is pretty damn high. I don't know what I'm looking for other then generally being appalled. I sent message to my current pcp for a referral since the dysphagia is returning.

Esophagus (biopsy):

Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) with greater than 100 eosinophils per high-power field (HPF).

Gastroesophageal (GE) junction (biopsy):

Eosinophilic esophagitis with greater than 25 eosinophils per HPF.

Focal intestinal metaplasia.

No dysplasia identified (no precancerous changes).

Stomach (biopsy):

Eosinophilic gastritis.

No Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection identified.

No intestinal metaplasia or dysplasia identified.

I'm just generally annoyed right now and needed to vent.

Taming the demogorgon

After reading a few tips, many threads in this sub, and watching a few videos, we moved into slip leash training today and did so well!

I've been using a front-clip harness, which wasn't terrible, but really wanted to get her used to a flat collar. So I paired a slip leash with a flat colla,r in case she somehow backed out if it, and she did so good! Rabbits will be the true test. But this 9 month old demogorgon is on her way to becoming civilized.

Until she's in the house and immediately breaks into my son's room to steal his stuffies. 😅

Any sage wisdom on leash walking always welcome.

Just started TOG

Caelaena just passed her first Champion test. Tell me something I won't understand until later.

I've already read ACOTAR and Crescent City. Hopefully I find some fun tie-ins.

Gum recession?

Hello! I started noticing some gum pain about a week ago. I get hormonal canker sores from time to time, so I didn't think much of it. Then I noticed that the gum looked split at the tooth. It's definitely irritated.

Will I likely need a gum graft for something like this?

I'm 46, did start taking Adderall in the last year, along with lexapro and HRT. No issues in the area of the tooth before this.

Last time I saw a dentist was 2 years ago, then we moved and I never got around to funding a new one. I have an appointment with a dentist this Friday.

Got jugs?

When a wants something, nothing will stop her. Especially if it's her beloved mango juice jug. Seriously, I was impressed. It's over 9 pounds and she carried it from the laundry room to the living room by the spout.

Thief life.

Ellie is now just shy of 8 months old and somewhere between 65 and 70 pounds. Big girl, bigger personality and loves everyone a little too much.

Her favorite thing to do is steal things that she's not supposed to have, especially when she gets excited.

How did you tire out your teenage kleptomaniac? She gets walks, both long and sniff-filled, training, chewies, cuddles and more.
