[India] [$700 - $800] looking to buy a laptop for mechanical engineering and robotics
Country
India
Budget
My budget ranges in 70k to 80k rupees
Usd - $729.39 to $833.59
Are you open to refurbs/used options?
No , I wanna start with a new laptop and I think an old one might not be upto to the mark for my field
Screen size
Probably from 12' to 14'
Weight limit
Anything not too heavy , I would be carrying around campus all day
Purpose
Mostly for my mechanical engineering things like designing , etc I also would wanna use it to code for robotics too
Form factor
Standard clamshell
Intended usage
I will use AUTOCAD and similar designing softwares , c c++ and python for coding , I will probably play a few games like marvel rivals and probably black myth wukong
Desired battery life
Atleast 16 hrs to sustain me a day
Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life
Performance >> weight and size > battery
I don't mind too much abt the battery but I really need it to perform well and have a decent build to carry it around
** And I would really would require a graphics card and a good amount of ram according to some sources
Is the mechanical engineering group serious there ?
I have bmsce , uvce and msrit as my options for mech
I could join uvce cause of the fees (trust me a loan free environment after college is the best)
If I join uvce mechanical , how are the mechanical peers there? I am very deep into mechanical I already which parts of mech eng I have to do, I already know the areas of mechanical engineering and which companies provide those internships
I just wanna know if the people there are as serious about I am about mechanical engineering
Has anyone got a job through fast offers japan in mechanical engineering?
I am still an undergraduate (1st year mech) my uni isn't that good , its an above avg uni in india , I am trying to find a job in japan , I am n5 in Japanese (as of rn) and will go up to n2 or n1

I got 4 years to go from n5 to n2 (I am just asking why am I getting down voted 😭)
I will probably get 18k to 25k rank in cet , I really like mechanical engineering and I will most probably get uvce in round 1
How's the crowd and faculty there? What about the placement???
I was looking into mech eng and what do you mean the same seat in mech in r1 in msrit is 20k 2 years ago is now 8k😭😭😭
