For law firm owners/partners - how do you think about CAC?

I'm curious about the services world. In software, you typically have rough benchmarks:

For <$10k/year clients: up to 10%, with up to half of that being the cost of the initial meeting.

$10k-$25k/year: up to 15% with up to 8% being the initial meeting cost.

$25k - $50k/year: up to 20% with 12% on first calls

$50k+/year: no set benchmarks.

How does this compare to legal services? I'm conscious the margins are different, so curious to learn how this differs or how you think about it?

Sales leaders who don't respond to outreach, why?

So, I'm curious, if you've ever gotten a cold email (which you definitely have), what are the reasons you did respond (positively) vs not responding or responding negatively?

Is it always down to poor fit of the solution you've been pitched? The same thing being pitched repeatedly (e.g lead gen or some kind of sales enablement thing) or something else?

Note: namely from the last 12 months and not from before cold email got mass spammed as a channel

Need a recommendation for customer support ticketing

I need to implement a tool for customer support. These are the features I think make the most sense:

  1. Integration via api into my app - lets users send a message with subject.

  2. Sends to my email

  3. Lets me respond directly and tick off support queries.

Would prefer to not have a platform I have to log in to every day. A dashboard can be helpful but not required.

I’m a big believer that your personal identity dictates how far your company can go.

My question to those who hit $10m/year, what was your mindset like? What are the set of beliefs you hold that you didn’t have at $1m/year?

Something I've found to be helpful sometimes is to have a third person view/birds eye view to identify growth bottlenecks to solve them.

Answer the following and I'll ask some clarifying q's or share a pov that could help:

  1. What product/service do you sell? if you can - add a website if comfortable
  2. What is your pricing model (e.g annual contracts, monthly fees, retainers etc)?
  3. Do you work with the decision maker or do you need to get approval from someone else to get to work with you?

I've posted this on other subs and got blasted from some super bitter individuals. To clarify - I enjoy talking about this stuff and have even made some friends from posting on reddit in the past, in case you need to understand my incentives.
