Tarmac Sl7

Tarmac Sl7

2025 Tarmac SL7 Comp with the following upgrades:

- Zipp 303s wheels

- 30mm Continental GP5000 S TR tires (tubeless setup) with tan walls

- 110mm stem

- Zipp SL80 Race handlebar (not officially compatible with Shimano Di2 105, but it works just fine)

- Favero Assioma Duo pedals

- Shimano CL900 disc brake rotors (upgraded mostly for the looks, but I noticed improved braking performance compared to the rotors that came with the bike)

- Selle Italia SLR Boost TM saddle

I love riding this bike. I was new to road cycling when I bought it 11 months ago, and I just completed my first century last weekend in 6h last weekend (solo, with 4800 ft elevation).

Zipp handlebar warranty question

I wiped out and broke a rib/punctured a lung last week. I am now assessing the damage to my bike (relatively new tarmac sl7 with zipp 303s wheels and zipp SL80 race handlebar).

The hoods, which were torqued within specs and in the designated clamping area, folded in during the crash.

I removed the bar tape on the handlebars and found that the carbon is crushed on both sides, just above the hood clamping points.

Is this something that that's SRAM would cover under warranty? If so, any tips for a successful claim? Thanks
