Scenic Train Ride in Brazil

A nostalgic journey through the countryside of Brazil, capturing the scenic train ride from Campinas to Jaguariúna.

The main 4-6-0 steam locomotive shown in this video was built by The Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia in 1895. The diesel locomotive was made by Electro-Motive Division (EMD) of General Motors in 1960. Being short and relatively lightweight, these diesel locomotives were introduced to phase out steam traction on branch lines and smaller trains of the Mogiana Railway. Its 875hp output matched that of larger steam locomotives, easily replacing the older engines for both freight and passenger trains.

The railway in the region depicted in this video uses 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3/8 in) metre gauge tracks.

Sao Paulo's metro stations on the BMPCC OG.

Filmed São Paulo's metro stations on the BMPCC OG. Looking for honest feedback.

I spent a day wandering around São Paulo and filming some of its metro stations.

Shot on a BMPCC OG with a Panasonic 12-35mm and a Laowa 7.5mm, using a Black Pro-Mist 1/8. Graded in DaVinci Resolve with CinePrint 35.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the pacing, editing, and overall look. Anything you think works well or could be improved?

Note: I accidentally underexposed a couple of shots.

Thanks for taking a look.

BMPCC OG + Russian Cinema Lenses

This is a camera test of vintage Russian lenses on the BMPCC OG. I used the following lenses: Meteor 5-1 17–69mm, Mir 11M 12mm f/2, Vega 7-1 20mm f/2, and Tair 41M 50mm f/2, all adapted to MFT with adapters made by RafCamera.

I used a bit of digital diffusion from Scatter by Video Village (in some shots only). For color, I used Dehancer. I also added a slight blur.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
