Early Offers

Hi everyone, I’m pretty sure early offers are meant to come out today. Has anyone received theirs? Do you have any idea when they might be coming out today or if they are ever delayed?

Scaling

Can anyone who has completed their atar give me an indication of how their scaling for the following subjects went (I know this differs significantly based on your school and other factors but just some examples would be really helpful)

Literature
English
Politics and Law
French
Psychology

Close Reading

Close Reading

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on crafting a strong close reading. Generally, I’m okay at making meaning of the text and supporting with evidence. I really struggle with structuring my close readings, mostly because I find it difficult to break down my idea into smaller ideas for each paragraph as I would in an essay. What are some other productive ways to structure my close readings? Also, I kind of find the fact that there is no question pretty overwhelming because there is just so much to refer to. When presenting my reading, is it best to focus on either just language features or just generic conventions or to use all relevant evidence I can find to support my argument? Any other tips would be appreciated!
