Has anyone read this news lately? It is absolutely heartbreaking. The poor woman has given birth at least 21 times in her short life. The oldest kid is 18 years old but cannot even spell her name.

eBay scam warning: buyer swapped my item and opened a fake INAD case

Hi folks, I recently sold a high-value item internationally to the US with my own shipping. Brand new buyer with zero feedback and a fake identity, think about the name Jane Doe. (In hindsight this is clearly a premeditated scam.) The only truthful information they provided is a PO box address. Upon delivery, they immediately opened a INAD case. They uploaded a completely different item that is probably not worth 5% of what I sent. I was forced to the return but now I am stuck at return label step since I am in a different country. I offered to pay for their return shipping as ebay cs suggested but they refused. Now ebay is warning me that the buyer will be refunded if I don't provide the label.

In addition, is there a legal way to obtain their information so I can take legal action against them? Without their legal name and address, it almost seems impossible. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get my justice. I already filed reports with USPS and police.
