Wife says water is too soft

I installed a Fleck 5600 SXT 48k grain softener last year. The wife feels the water is too soft, so I bypassed the softener for a week and she likes it better (something about her hair feeling more full). As I understand the Fleck, I can lower the hardness level, but that will only prolong the time between regenerations, right? So the water will still be “too soft” right after a regen, then harder right before the next regen. Is that correct? Is it possible to install mixing valve after the softener (50% hard 50% soft)? If I need to mothball the softener all together, should I remove the salt/brine from the tank? Anything else I should do to prevent damage to the unit?

Luba 2 3000X connection issue

Edit: it’s working! I randomly tried power cycling again and it made the sword sound! I’m now connected and I’m hoping it stays that way!

This is my second Luba, so I know a few of the tips and tricks, but I’m completely stumped on this one and I’m looking for help. Here’s the timeline:

Day 1- Setup Luba, map back yard, mow back yard. Everything went great. I linked Luba and RTK to my 5ghz WiFi, which might have been a mistake.

Day 2- Luba will not connect in the app. Luba seemingly can’t connect over wifi or Bluetooth. I “unbind” Luba from the app. After a few hard resets (holding mow+home+start, then holding power for >5 seconds) Luba makes the sword sound and I’m able to add the robot to the app. I map the front yard and mow. The backyard map was still saved, which was a nice surprise.

Day 3- Luba won’t connect over WiFi or Bluetooth once again. I unbind like I did yesterday, but now it will absolutely not find the robot when I go to add it again in the app.

I’ve tried every single trick that I know of. Several hard resets, turning off then pulling the key for an hour, removing vision module and bumper… nothing has worked. My theory is that Luba still thinks it’s linked to my account and won’t let me connect to it, but it has no way to connect to the Mammotion servers to see that I “unbinded” it to let me add it again. I never get the sword sound anymore, which is making me think the hard resets are not working.

Support has been awful. This is the first time I’ve experienced that since my 3000H has been mowing flawlessly for 2.5 seasons.

Is there a way to bootleg the robot to connect to my WiFi or Bluetooth so it can update? Mammotion is probably going to have me send the mower in, which I want to avoid at all costs. I finally had to manually mow tonight and it reminded me how amazing these things are when they work. Any help would be super appreciated!!!
