Android v iPhone

I’ve been using an iPhone for quite a fee years now. Way back when they discontinued the iPod Classic because it was the only way to make use of my massive library of music on iTunes. However, physical has dropped in popularity and I’ve moved to using Apple Music now and that’s, fairly recently as I understand, become available on android devices. I’m seeking to upgrade my phone later this year from an iPhone 14 to something newer to hold myself through going back to school.

I use my phone for navigation, music, communication, and a little gaming here and there. I don’t have any gaming subscriptions and I’d usually prefer to play emulated gameboy, NES, and SNES stuff over most of the slop that populates the stores nowadays. Looking for recommendations as to which way to go. I figured waiting until fall/winter would give me access to the 18(assuming that’s what they call it), but I’m not sure if it’s even worth it to continue with iPhones now that the whole reason I got them is no longer something that’s relevant.

Thanks in advance folks!

RPG Survival

So, I've played Minecraft on and off but never really got far. While I don't dislike the survival aspect, I'm definitely more of an RPG player. However, I have some friends big into the crafting/building stuff and less into the RPG end. Is there a solid game out there that really meets both ends? Hytale is neat but feels like a "next steps" Minecraft. Everwind just hit early access recently and seems neat, but is it just another "next steps" Minecraft? Enshrouded seems like it would fit my desires, but will it meet my more builder friends' wants?

Thanks in advance folks!

Edit: We went with Grounded. Friends were interested in that above others. Figured out some control issues and we properly start tomorrow! Thanks again folks!

Alpha Legion

I’m a huge fan of the big sneaky fellas from the 40k setting. The scaled armor, the infiltration themes, hyper camouflage, deception, etc. Hell, I even found a proxy line for them that looks pretty spicy that I bought the STLs for. I have tentative plans for some more GDF in the coming weeks so I wanted to give them a whirl. For other fans of these fellas or those with some knowledge of them, how would you run them? Dark Bros for the reduced shooting/charge range against them was my thought, but y’all will likely know more than I do. Especially when it comes to custom books. Help me out!
