Picked up my first platypus today from a friend, excited to join to club. I’ve wanted one of these ever since I first saw one, and knew I had to have it when I saw it posted on tacswap. Lucky enough to skip the wait but hopefully someday I’ll have a second that I get to customize.
Had a week off work so I finally had the time to build my dream. There’s a few more things I’d like to do to it as the time passes, but I got the majority of my list done. Bilstein 5100s with dobinson lift springs, slightly heavier front springs and stock weight rear springs to give me about a 2” lift. LFD low pro roof rack (and a rtt not pictured.) C4 low pro pre facelift winch bumper with a Badlands 12k synthetic rope winch. And finally 285s. Went with Goodyear duratrac RTs because I get a hefty discount on Goodyear tires. Very happy with how it’s turned out so far. Tires so far are only rubbing on the fender liners, but should clear as soon as I have a chance to push the liners forward. Headed to Colorado next month to spend a week in the mountains and I’m excited to see how she does.
