Received this in the back of a truck I bough, part # yields no results. It’s LuK branded and 168 tooth but I can’t find an exact match. Wanting to sell it so I don’t want to list it with incorrect info. Pretty sure it’s for a sbc but unsure of specifics. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Hello, I have a 5.3 Vortec that has started to intermittently (maybe 50% of the time) rev hang with basically any throttle input, and idle way high (2-3k RPM). Also wants to die at stops, but cruises down the road fine. It has a BTR truck Norris cam, injectors, and long tubes but besides that is stock. I’ve smoke tested for vacuum leaks, replaced IAC valve, tested that throttle position is accurate, plugged the hole in the throttle blade and cleaned and verified MAF is reading correctly. When it decides to high idle it’s still reading that the throttle is only at 0.4-0.8%. I’m confused as to how the engines even able to rev that high with such little air and no vacuum leaks that are presenting themselves. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
