I was given a 12 year old budgie. How to help her?

Besides making her a vet appointment, what else can I do for her? She is 12, almost 13, has never had any friends and has lived in this tiny cage all her life (first picture). Additionally she's only ever been on seeds her entire life according to the previous owner and I am afraid to transition her to pellets considering how long she's been on her current diet. I have five other parakeets who are all male. I don't even know how to go about introducing a budgie who hasn't seen another bird in 12 years 😭

I have her in my conure's travel cage currently (second picture) as it's a bit bigger than what she was in. I did have her in my parakeets' old cage which still is a pretty decent size but she seemed so overwhelmed by it so I downsized her. She has been chirping but I have yet to see her eat or drink.

How would you recommend driving with your green cheek conure? I’m planning on doing a 5 hour drive with him soon to visit my partner. I bought him this travel cage that’s 19 inches tall, and he’ll mainly only be in it for the drive there and back since he’s otherwise free roam and spends at least 8 hours a day outside of his cage.

I decided to bring him with me because he’s extremely clingy and very attached to me. I’ll have family caring for my five budgies and cockatiel while I’m gone since they don’t require nearly as much out-of-cage time.

My biggest concern is him getting stressed or nauseous or screaming nonstop during the drive. Any tips or recommendations from people who travel with their conures?

I got this guy recently as a result of a customer at my job essentially dumping him on me. He has a vet appointment on Monday for a check up and is in quarantine until further notice. Just wanted to see if anyone else thought so too.

First two pictures is how she looks normally and in the last picture is how she looks under a UV light. I found out recently that some birds that are not sexually dimorphic to our eyes are actually dimorphic in the UV spectrum. The distinct patterns shown under UV indicate she is indeed female.

I wish I was joking. One of my regulars at work a few weeks ago told me about their animals and then mentioned they had a budgie that drove them crazy. I mentioned to them that I had six birds and counting now. Today they came into my job, not to buy anything, but to ask me if I wanted their budgie because they didn't have enough time for him. For the last two hours of my shift, I sat with my new budgie like a crazy person and probably got some weird stares. He was in the most dirty, saddest cage I had ever seen with essentially no toys and no friends and it had been this way for 5 months or so according to his previous owner. He is in quarantine and soon enough he will be able to join my four other budgies

I am at seven birds now.
