How do I refuse money for helping a sweet older lady?

My wife and I (both F early 20s) just got back from a walk where we ended up talking to an older lady (93) who needs some help cleaning. She is super sweet, and she reminds me of my great grandma, so of course im going to help her out. She told me what she would have me do and it is all pretty basic. She wants to pay me $20/ hour for 4 hours of work twice a month. Im not going to deny that a couple hundred extra bucks in this economy wouldn't be nice, but from the sounds of the conversation, even this may be a stretch for her.

How do i refuse the money?? She mentioned that she bakes a lot and i wouldn't have a problem taking baked goods as my payment, and she was lovely to talk to.

Also, she is currently under the impression that my wife and i are roommates 🤣 so how to i break that one to her too??
