Hey everyone, I’ve seen some beautiful homepages, but I just can't seem to create anything that looks even remotely pleasing to my own eyes. I’m a TTRPG GM, so I wanted a homepage that would make it easy to browse campaign categories, NPCs, and the like—but at the same time, my ADHD won't let me go without having one. I’m spending more time agonizing over this issue than actually building my campaign, and it’s driving me crazy. Does anyone have an RPG vault with a cool homepage they could share for inspiration? I just can't seem to let this go.

P.S. I have the Homepage plugin. When I started using Obsidian, I really missed that feature and needed to add it.

Hi, I'm a beginner on my first run of this game. I decided to start on Hard because I like a bit of a challenge, but it's insane, lmao. Can you guys give me a tip for the early game? I've reached the Labyrinth, Level 2. The gameplay was fun until I ran into a room with a barbarian, an archer, and some random guy. I'm playing as a Divine Guardian, and even with two frontliners (my PC and Seelah) plus the spider and the elf (I forgot their names), the barbarian is absolutely wrecking me. Am I missing something here? Or is this just the standard Hard difficulty? Because I feel like I should probably be a higher level at this point.

Hello friends, I have some general questions that I decided to post all together to see if I can get them answered at once instead of making multiple posts. My questions are as follows:

• Closing tabs on exit: Is there a way to close tabs when I close Obsidian? When I close Obsidian and open it again, all the tabs are still loaded. I would like them to close automatically when Obsidian closes.
• Auto-collapsing folders: Is it possible to minimize/collapse folders? If I start opening a lot of folders, everything stays open. I would like a folder to collapse automatically when I open another one, because sometimes I am not thinking about collapsing them manually and I end up getting lost.
• Properties vs. Tags for RPGs: Finally, I would like to know how properties can help me organize RPG stuff. I am not having much success using #tags, because when I search for them—if I use something like #Strahd, for example—the search returns any note that mentions this character, rather than just the ones I specifically tagged. Maybe I just don't know how to use them properly.

Can anyone help clear up these questions?

The players need to visit the Fortress of Memories to speak with the Raven Queen, and I want to explore each of their memories—revisiting past recollections, traumas, and fallen companions. I’m just struggling with how to give the scene real weight. Everything I write feels generic, and the reason for them being there seems to lack purpose. Initially, I thought about focusing on regret, since that’s a theme in everyone’s backstory—regret over failing to save someone, or over actions taken in the name of what they believed was "justice." Can anyone help me out with this?

Do you know of any Adventures League adventures set in Ravenloft for tiers 3 and 4? With the release of the new Ravenloft book, which should soon be authorized on DDAL, I wanted to narrate some high-tier adventures to "celebrate," but the "Absent Hearts" and "Mist Hunters" adventures are only tier 1 and 2. I’ve been setting up a custom dashboard using the Homepage module. To integrate my schedule, I used an Iframe to embed my Google Calendar. After quite a bit of trial and error, I managed to get it looking clean and sized correctly so I can check my appointments directly within Obsidian.

However, I’ve run into a layout issue. The calendar occupies a massive amount of vertical space at the top of the page, which often causes me to "lose" or forget about the content further down.

Based on a suggestion to use the Multi-Column plugin, I tried splitting the layout to have my content on one side and the calendar on the other. While I got it working, I hit a snag: if the text on the left side becomes longer than the calendar on the right, the alignment breaks and the whole organization feels off.

I’ve already managed to "lock" the calendar/iframe height at 500px using a div.

My question is: Is there a way to also lock the left side (the text area) to that same fixed height and enable a scrollbar within that specific column?

I want both columns to stay aligned at the same height regardless of how much text I add to the left side. Any tips on the CSS or plugin settings needed to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!
