This is an addition to my own personal collection, but my cousin who kept his boxes.

She's just getting into them, as I started sorting out my collection, and she bought her first set of Pokémon cards yesterday. Every week, we open a Prophecy pack

Recently, my cousins were talking about the time our older cousin gave us boxes of Prophecy.

It's 2000, and my older cousin came to a family gathering with these large boxes. He gives each of us a whole box. Not a Booster Box, but a case each. We never heard of Magic at the time. He said his work chucked them out in the bin, and thought we would just play with them and enjoy opening them.

Long story short, I still have some and One box that I kept. I can't find the box anywhere, but I still have foil packs and some sorted-out cards, which we sat down and finally sorted in 2018.

I always looked online previously to see if they were worth anything pre-2018, and they weren't. They were still nice to keep as they were part of my childhood. And would talk about them at Magic events when i used to go. Then i forgot about them and stopped playing.

It came up again at a family event, where I told my cousins I found one foil pack and if i should open it. Going down the path of their value etc. Also it was nice reading some stories of other people who started out there journey with Phophecy.

Just wanted to share that story. One of my cousins still has his. His is in a binder, and my other cousin, who was 6, threw them out as he was 6. But still has memories of opening packs with all of us. So I'm going to try to complete a set and give it to him.

If you are on Ruined Beetle on FB you might have seen the accident. I'm just starting to chip away and see the extent of the damage.

1969 1500, with a 1600 motor. Motor might be cooked but will have to remove it and see as well. Got hit both sides :(
