I've been pulling multiple Cauldrons despite never building a Golgari deck before, but with my Witherbloom(s) from the codex bundle I guess I should give it a shot!
Getting the Sol Ring was a huge bonus too, otherwise my other bundle pulls weren't too crazy but I'm still satisfied regardless!
Just wanted to share. These are stunning and as someone who’s lived or worked in NYC for nearly 20 years now, I’m thrilled they exist.

Grabbed the last collector booster from the LGS on a whim, only card I’m chasing from the set 😭
The first pic is my Strixhaven Codex Box's top ten pulls. Pretty mediocre to downright sad, if you ask me. I was fortunate to get mine at MSRP, so it wasn't a total loss, and hey... Let's be honest: Cracking packs is its own form of payoff.
So after cracking my Codex and weeping--as is much more commonly the case than what we see here--I hit up my local comics and games shop, and snagged three boosters of Mirrodan Besieged, to lick my wounds.
Yeah, I'm a degen, like the rest of you 🤣
Anyhow, the second pic shows the pulls from three plain old, non-set, non-collector boosters. I somehow pulled [[Green Sun's Zenith]] and [[Darksteel Plate]] in back-to-back packs. And honestly, some of the uncommons and even [[Fangren Marauder]] remain powerful and useful commander cards, to this day.
This is all just to say that there is hype and there are cards that wreck games, threaten board states, and pull a Houdini-esque victory out of [[Ms. Bumbleflower]] 's bumble... Don't mistake hype for power. Don't always just buy the hype, but DO keep rolling the dice.

As per the title, I'm actually gob smacked. I bought the bundle for the Sol Ring, dice and maybe getting a couple Japanese Mystical Archives because they look cool. Never would've thought I'd get an insane pull from a damn Codex Bundle.

I thought I was making a bad financial decision at first but then I found all this. When I found the atraxa a tear ran down my leg 😂
Got it for 65€ so I have no regrets, plus a buddy gifted me a couple promo packs (1 foil and 1 not), definitely a lucky day (the jap cards are culling the weak in non foil, and the etched one is dismember)
I started playing when KND just released and I bought a set display, pulled 3x Boseiju, sold them. (Did not understand the power then). 2 years later I pull another one from some very cheap Japanese KND booster. Sold it again… (still didn’t know better)
Last week I build a “Wilson, Refined Grizzly” commander deck and kinda regretted selling the last Boseiju I had.
Today I went by my LGS and saw they had some KND boosters left. With Boseiju in mind, I asked for one and when the clerk reached for them, one booster fell to the ground. She was about to take a different one from the shelf, but I said no I want that one. Told her I needed Boseiju and it probably was in the one she dropped. Her colleague said now I had to open it in store. So I did and THERE THE F IT WAS!!!! The look I got from them hahaha
So this made me think, there must be other people that have gotten very lucky with one specific card (rare/mythic) over the years now.
Im about to buy this heap for $1100, from what im seeing, this could be a gold mine, or a shit pile, either way im going to try it, wish me luck!
