MacBook Air not accepting correct password

This is the second time this has happened to me.

Please do not send me to this page. It's completely useless. The instructions lead to dead ends.

My MacBook has never given me the option to reset the password, I don't remember where I wrote down my Apple ID, and I'm not resetting my entire computer/account.

I'm typing the correct password. The computer's just not accepting it. This shouldn't be happening.

I'm open to creative ways to either force it to accept the password or force a password reset.

ETA: I'm blocking accounts that rudely tell me I'm putting in the wrong password/to punch in the correct password. I guarantee you I'm putting it in correctly. No caps, no dead keys, no external keyboard (tysm to folks who gently suggested those might be causing the problem). It's a password I've had for a while (all the more reason to change/reset it, tbf). I'm not misremembering it.

Prayer book for altar tin

I'm making a travel altar, and want to include a little prayer/invocation book, but all the prayers and such I come across are quite lengthy!

Anybody know where I can find shorter prayers/invocations?

Thanks!

"Altar tax" included (minus prayer book and altar spray - I don't have the bottle yet).

Making slashes

I need some help!

Long story short, I'm knitting a Deadpool and Wolverine sweater, and I want slash marks on one of the sleeves.

I tried steeking, and as you can see, it's a hot mess. The black outline feels off to me (if it had otherwise worked, I'd've used gray to reinforce), and the gaps created by the steeks feel too wide. (As a side note, I added the black stockinette to prevent a draft and give depth to the slashes, if that makes sense.)

I saved the cuff, but before I reknit the sleeve*, what advice do you all have regarding making slash marks? I really would like for it to actually be cut.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

*Which will involve either buying another skein of the gray yarn, or a stupid amount of splicing.
