Digitizing 101

Does anyone have any suggestions of YouTube channels or resources to learn all of the ins and outs of digitizing? Most videos I stumble upon use vocabulary or techniques I'm not familiar with, and I'd love to really understand how to digitize so I can make quality pieces.

Nail Folds

Please ignore the manicure, it's insanely overdue... but, I keep dealing with thick, dry skin and it's only on my pointer fingers? I moisturize, don't pick at them and I don't get why it only influences my pointer fingers. These nails also grow faster than the rest of my nails. Anyone else deal with this?

Can anyone tell me if this is mold or mildew? The pink is pretty common here and easy to clean but the black spots are more concerning.
