Can't believe it's done! I usually do my runs on the beach, but thought it would be fitting to do the final run in the same woods I did my first run all those weeks ago. It's impressive how well this program works. Just stick with it and trust the process!
Now......what's next!?
Does anyone have any stitch tips? I feel fine for the first 20 minutes, then I seem to suddenly get stitch in my right side in my ribs for the last 5 minutes. I really have to push through the pain. I don't eat within the 2 hours before my runs, so I'm not entirely sure what's causing it. Is this just something that will improve on it's own eventually?
I completed the 20 minutes in W5R3 last Sunday and found it much easier than I expected. However, I had a little break midweek (I usually run on Wednesdays) because of the heat. I just completed W6R1 tonight, but it was still pretty hot and very humid out there.
There were people everywhere too, so I was constantly having to weave in and out of them. It was by far the hardest run I’ve done so far, and the first time I genuinely thought I wasn’t going to finish it. I think the humidity was making it hard to breath.
I really don’t like having breaks longer than two days, max...but this heat is ridiculous
