[N/A] [Condo] Board volunteers responsible for paying HOA expenses then get reimbursed?

Have you ever heard of a board members being asked to front payment out of personal funds for the HOA? That feels highly inappropriate to me and I can't understand why the management company and non board member owners in my community think that's an appropriate thing to ask of board members.

Should I sell and go back to renting for 2 years?

I've hit max stress with my neighbors. I want to move away from them asap due to the stress they are causing. It's not a safety concern, just highly annoying. At the same time, I own the cheapest place (by a lot) in my area and I can't afford to move but still stay in my same area. I really like the area and see this as an area I want to live in for the next 30+ years. I won't be able to afford to sell and buy a new place in my area until we go back to being a two-income family again in two years. We could, however, sell and go rent something cheap further away and then come back in a couple of years. What are the pros and cons I should be thinking about?

Exmos who had kids at a young age, where are you at?

As a "good" mormon I got married and had kids really young compared to my non mormon peers. Outside of Utah this makes me one of the youngest parents at every school function. Many of the other parents are 10+ years older than me. At the same time I started my career late and all my coworker peers are years younger than myself.

I have no complaints about my life. My kids are great and I'm excited about where my career is going. I am just looking for people who feel the same: old in the workspace and young in the parent space. Surely there are a lot of us, right?

I wish Buick had a minivan in the line up in North America

I'm feeling torn between getting a minivan or the buick enclave as my next vehicle. I've had such good luck with buicks and the enclave looks great. But sliding doors are an important feature I want. Literally I just want the enclave with sliding doors.
