Need advice on hoist setup for Hustler ZT

I have a Huster 54" raptor X I have had for a few years. To be clear, I am homesteader with several orchards, small vineyard and a lot of rough ground. I just need stuff cut down, I don't give a F about a golf course grade yard - ain't got time for that :)

I am trying to make maintenance easier for changing blades and I was debating getting a rolling chain hoist to help with the situation since it has more versatility (they have some with fold up legs). The thing that confuses me is the jack situation. I see people say - I believe correctly so - to not just trust the chain and put jacks under the mower in addition to wheel chalks but I don't see how typical jacks work in that scenario because the mower is tilted at a pretty stong angle in that scenario and a jack isn't going to reach I assume.

Can anyone explain to me like I am five how to use jacks in that scenario where you have a chain hoist with the deck up at 45 degree?

Thanks!

Senville LETO/SENL engineering mode: should I use fan-stop-at-setpoint for workshop/shed units?

I have two Senville LETO/SENL mini split heat pump units:

- SENL/18CD, 18,000 BTU, 230V

- SENL/09CD/110V, 9,000 BTU, 110V

They are installed in a workshop and a shed/outbuilding. My use case is not normal occupied comfort control. I mainly want to keep the buildings within a reasonable temperature range for storage and such when I may not enter them for several days.

What Im seeing is that after the units reach set temperature, the indoor head fan continues running at low speed instead of fully stopping. I called Senville and they basically said this is normal and not to worry about it.

However, I found the LETO service manual here:

https://senville.com/content/manuals/leto/Leto-Service-Manual.pdf

In the engineering mode / information inquiry settings, there appears to be a parameter for “Internal Fan Control Selector after the pre-set temperature is reached,” with options including:

- 1 = stop the fan

- 2 = minimum fan speed

- 3 = set fan speed

- other timed options depending on model support

My questions:

  1. Has anyone with Senville LETO/SENL units actually changed this setting to “stop the fan”?

  2. Did it work reliably, or did the unit ignore the setting?

  3. Did it cause any weird behavior with temperature sensing, short cycling, heating/cooling performance, defrost, or Follow Me?

  4. Is there any real downside to using fan-stop-at-setpoint for an outbuilding/workshop use case?

  5. If you changed it, what was the original/default value and what value did you settle on?

My main concern is unnecessary wear and tear from 24/7 indoor blower runtime, especially in a workshop/outbuilding context where the space may already be at temperature for long periods and I may not enter it for days. I realize the blower is probably running at low speed and that mini splits are designed for long runtime, but I’m trying to understand whether stopping the indoor fan at setpoint is reasonable or whether it creates more problems than it solves.

A secondary concern is energy cost. I know the indoor fan alone is probably not a huge power draw, but if there is a supported engineering setting that avoids unnecessary runtime without hurting the unit’s behavior, I’d prefer that.

I am not planning to hard-cut power with a smart plug/relay; I’d rather use a supported internal setting if it actually works.
