Sooo how did I do a curving shot?

Edit: I don't actually want to learn to do this on purpose. It's a why it happened and how do I not do it again.

So the other night at a pickup game I took a shot from around the hashmarks. I usually use an older style sweeping wrister technique. The puck was going top right corner. Except it didn't. Somehow I managed to put around 8 inches of sideways break on the puck like a baseball pitcher would do with a sweeper.

I thought I was crazy until a friend commented on it unprompted, as did my friend who I was actually shooting on.

My only thought is that I shoot right handed, had a fresh tape job from toe to heel, and covered it with a copious amount of the sticky Yew wax. Perhaps I gave it enough right hand spin through all of that to give it that right break?

I just know I'm not good enough to do it on purpose 😂

Before I go to bore sight...

Edit: I'm a dumbass and won't be deleting this so give me your best

So putting together my first AR. So far I've come up with this chonky monstrosity. Just got my lpvo leveled and to the best of my ability eye relief set.

Question is this: I know optics don't go on handguards. You can see the front of the mount is just barely touching the handguard. Good to go before bore sighting or big no-no?

Help me find a dog trainer/behaviorist

Hey all,

We lost our sweet Goldendoodle, Noodle unexpectedly to cancer last fall and think it may be time to find a puppy. The sticking point is our Old English Sheepdog, Maple who is a covid dog and who always seemed a bit protective of Noodle around other dogs. Thus we avoided other dogs with her. Now that he has been gone for about 8 months, we are hoping to find a trainer who might be able to evaluate Maple to get their thoughts on how well she would do if we brought a puppy into the home. We will not bring in another dog if it will not be a healthy home.

So with that background, any suggestions on who to contact?
