Best Minion Build for Farming Spectre Gear?

I am 99% sure I'll be playing a Spectre Necro next league. I've never done Spectres before. I'd like to shoot for Ziz/Helm's 3.28 Frostbearer build, and that will require lots of Delve, farming Dread and Catarina, and lots of Ritual for corpses. I like cozy low-APM builds, and I'm wondering the best way of getting to the final version of the build?

Vaal Absolution just to maps or all the way to 2 stones?
Which build to farm Delve/Dread/Catarina on? pSRS? Soulwrest? pRAW?
Are Spectres strong enough to swap before 2/4 stones? Or is it better to farm up the corpses first?

EB Smite or Cyclone Ancestral Commander?

I'm thinking of going either Cyclone or a Ghostwrithe EB Smite guy. Both should be good on Ancestral Commander, so I think I'll start that. Looks like the Tectonic AoE tech is no longer a thing, so just go 6L Cyclone + 6L GC Ground Slam of Earthshaking. Last league examples.

If going Smite, which two AC nodes to take after the DoD ones? Could go for Strike skill buffs or Action Speed + 50% Phys -> Fire for survivability. Is the 'Strike Skills also target the previous location they were used' node actually bad for Smite?

My PoB is acting up a bit when trying to export, but I essentially just used Ben's PoB and substituted AC instead of Berserker. Loses a lot of atk speed, but more survivability to begin.
